I would like to inform you about the

5th Bavarian Summer Academy
German as a foreign language" for UNIVERSITY LECTURERS
|
which will take place at the University of Regensburg from 16th to 29th of July 2007.
For the past five years we have successfully filled a gap in the field of advanced training
opportunities concerning German as a foreign language (Deutsch als Fremdsprache). Our
academy - unlike trainings by the Goethe Institute that predominantly target school teachers -
explicitly caters to lecturers of German language from universities.
During our Summer Academy we cover topics which are highly relevant in the university
context. General topics of teaching a foreign language are also addressed from the university
perspective.

We would particularly like to inform you about our scholarship program for participants from
Eastern, Central and Southeastern Europe. The scholarship covers tuition fees and
accommodation. On a case basis travel expenses can be covered.
